Long time coming
Well gee its been a few weeks since my last entry here.
Man how time flies.
In just those few short weeks so much has happened where to start... the highlights.

May 7th
Was a gorgeous day and being that I had really put in the hours this past week. I snuck off at 3 oclock and headed for the beach.
AMAZING! Really thats all that can be said of the beach. Regardless of when your there its always amazing. The blue sky. The white sand, the green sea. AMAZING.
Not nearly as amazing however than some of the sights laying upon the sand.
This time was no different. I was noticing that I was getting checked out from a couple of different directions! Nice.
I later ran into one of the girls I saw on the beach shopping on Washington Ave as I was rollerblading home.
She looked like a supermodel, and invited me to the Delano with her later on and to Nikki Beach on Saturday. Niiice!!

May 17th
Just returned from a whirlwhind weekend waltz through Costa Rica.

I can definately say that Costa Rica is everything I heard about it and more! It was the most amazing trip.
From the bottle of Jack Daniels I downed before boarding to the Vertigo I got on the eventual Cab ride home. Everything in between and I mean everything was amazing.

The first night was just partying and gambling in San Jose.
HEY I WON LIKE 80$ at the Craps tables! Plus when you play craps your on the table for a long time. Meaning they are plying you with free drinks. Heh-heh. Unlike the other bars in the area when the measure out the watered down liquor. This place was making them almost as lethal as I like to make them in my own home. The waitress was bringing them over faster than I could down them!! Despite the buzz and the nagging of some company I picked on my journey - I was able to focus enough to grab a little cash.
Which I eventually gave back to other vices!

The next morning we headed out to Jaco beach. Where the surf was just perfect. Nice strong waves ripped me around! Awesome!
After my fill of the beach It was time to go riding.
Picked up a couple of motorcycles and spent the remainder of the day jetting around the town. Found the most amazing spot on a clif overlooking the pacific ocean to watch the sunset! Did I say it was AMAZING!!
That evening brought more drunken debauchery. After a great dinner it was time for fun. I wont go into details here lets just say Its an amzazing country, and the evenings events didnt disappoint.

After a quick morning swim, it was off to Quepos and Manuel Antonio Beach. Heres where things got really interesting!
Riding from the Hotel Kamuk down to the Beach was proabably the best part of the trip, rolling up and down the steep curvy hills the roar of the gasoline engine the sun the rain forest! BLISS!!

Manuel Antonio Beach offered more amazing sights, after spending most of the day at the beach relaxing. I spotted one unbelievable beauty emerging from the sea, much like the goddess Aphrodite in Greek Lore. Just more to love about this place.

Got pulled over on our bikes on the ride home by the local police. Apparently our paperwork was NOT in order and the police were joking about the flammable nature of my buddies breath:
"Sir I wonder what they would do in your country were they to notice the strong scent of alcohol on your breath?" Shoot we didnt even have enough money for a decent bribe. But begging works too and after just a little crying we were let go.

Only to get caught in a monsoon of a downpour. Not to worry though we were only MILES away from our hotel and of course THREE really rickety dangerous bridges in between.
The blinding rain made it almost impossible to see how terrifing the gaps in the rotting planks on one of the bridges were.

Well I survived and did not become crocodile bait.

The evening was even more incredible rife with tales of bliss.
Yet the time was running out.

Waking up early the next day - I did the hike of the nature preserve. Spotting Iguanas, wierd crabs, Lizards, Birds, a three-toed sloth and a pack of Monkeys!! Made my trip quite complete.

It wasnt done yet as a small pond-skipper plane ride back to San Jose was still on the plate. I met a couple of nice girls from California on the plane and we shared the ride between airports in San Jose. We sparked one up at the International airport to say goodbye to Costa Rica.

With that I returned to the Reality of everyday life!!

While my mind decided to stay on and is somewhere riding on a winding road next to the ocean.
