Talk about your pain in the rear.
This past week I went out boating with Luis Vidal. No place in particular just out in the water off Miami Beach. When Jumping in off the REAR of the boat, I didnt quite jump far enough to clear the "trim tab" hanging off the back of the boat.
The trim tab is a piece of metal sticking out on either side of the motor.

Well I didnt jump far enough to clear it, and when I went in, I caught the corner of that thing with he back of my thigh. I came down with all my weight as I hit the water. I got a huge nasty bruise. Of bigger concern was that I tore a gash into my arshe and was bleeding like sharkbait. The salt water wasnt exactly soothing either.

Talk about one old big pain in the BUTT!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!! - FROM GREGGY!

Been really keeping myself buzy. Lots of stories, dont know how many I will get to share here on the BLOG - BLAH!

BIG PROPS to the GREEKS - For winning the Euro 2004 Cup - in Soccer, or Futbal as they call it "accross the pond". It was great historic day for Greeks everywhere!
I spilled out into the 4th of July celebration afterwards, waving a Greek Flag- WHATEVER!

Speaking of 4th of July - Yeah I was doing plenty of Celebrating this weekend, starting with Thursday evenings Greek win in the Semifinal game against the Czech republic, so the partying began, and capped with Sundays win in the Final against host Portugal. So I was already drunk... which may have me somewhat jaded.

OK Isnt 4th of July Americas birthday!! So aside from a few nuts waving a GREEK flag, thats excusable - but whats with the Government putting on a fourth of july concert on South Beach, and IT NOT EVEN HAVING ENGLISH SPEAKING BANDS!!!
-Sure it was hip Latin Rock... but c'mon its fourth of July, and even in Miami Beach is practically a foreign country. But dang it. IT IS THE UNITED STATES AND ITS AMERICAS BIRTHDAY. PARDON ME IF I WANT MY TOWN TO PUT ON A 4th of JULY CELEBRATION WITH SOME AMERICAN MUSIC!! (wow with the caps I didnt realize how mad I was about this!) Nothing wrong with a local army branch brass band playing some J.P. Souza before the fireworks....

SPEAKING OF FIREWORKS, and YEAH I AM MAD ABOUT THIS....
So I get there 2 hours early getting a great seat - and mental state to enjoy a SPECTACULAR FIREWORKS SHOW. I mean I was hyping it up to these Swedish tourists I met while jockeying for good viewing position earlier on. "Yeah guys wait til you see what they got planned for the finale of this here shin-dig."
Well talk about "firework disfunction" Two minutes and anout 4 oooohs (Bang. Poof. OOOOOOh!) Then that was it. Done. No more fireworks, except for the kids running about the beach with sparklers and teen agers aiming roman candles at their doofus friends. For this is what they do with my tax money....

Spanish rock concert, Lame ass fireworks.... killer "after" parties!!
