Thanksgiving 2004

If you read my last post - there was a certain theme of thankfulness - appropriate for the season! The chance to be thankful for what we have, and the timing of the events of this month couldn't be any better. So then on the big day, what was I up to?

I was in Syracuse, which I will also call: Snoreacuse. Well not really - actually like a 40 minutes from Syracuse really. But Syracuse is like the closest city - where I fly into.

So really I'm in the middle of nowhere - I really didn't do too much - just play with my sisters kids. They keep me kinda amused. I guess Im still very child like, and I can relate to them, and I don't mind playing games with them all day - I'm there! But there's really nothing else goin on out there at ALL - like literally nothing. You have to drive 1/2 hour to get to a mall nearby and that all closes at like 9:30. So really there is NOTHING to do there, but watch TV.

Since its my moms I cant even uh, cut loose... or nothing. I do take these prescription pills that I have for my back, so they keep me pretty mello. Its Boring for a few days, then Saturday back here after traveling all day Friday. The stress of traveling during the holidays. I guess that's why I went a little crazy, on Saturday night, I mean it was from being all bored for 4 days then it kinda erupted! Maybe it was from playing with the kids for three days... These Kids today, I tell you!!
