Tow-taled
Just a reminder if you are visiting anyone on South Beach...

Make sure to park in a "legit" spot.

If you see a "tow" sign, do not ignore it - it is not an idle threat.

If you think "well I will only be a minute", think again, in many cases the tow truck guys give a little money to "spotters" who basically have nothing else to do but to call the tow company when they see someone illegally parked. Since, for these folks, this IS their main source of income, they dont miss too many. Likely they saw you coming when you pulled in and were cheering you to go for it - while you were deciding weather "to park or not to park..." they were likely already thinking about the bottle of Boone's they were gonna buy with the proceeds. Before you are even out of your car, they have already called the tow.

If parking illegally avoid using alarms. Aside from annoying everyone when they put your car on the tow, it will chirp and whine the whole way to the tow-yard.

Finally have CASH.
The tow yards DONT accept credit or checks....

...or stories about how you were just going to be a minute.

(see for every good thing you read about south Beach, be happy you can PARK where ever you may live! Ya definately got that on us here!)
